As a student loan in the federal government on my tax return?

The government can take my tax return if my Student loan has been discharged because of disability.

    Call 1-800-304-3107 and see if FMS displays your refund as an object or compensation.

    If the loan was dispersed, they do not take your taxes. You may need to send them a copy of your certificate of release.
