Can I deduct interest on my student loans if they are moved?

I have several Student loans, which were in his surrender his surrender in 2008 – a cost to be exact. The interest was to be more educated and ready, that is, technically I was paying interest – only they will pay in the future. Can I request that the interest in my 2008 return?

    No, you can not.

    The taxes on a cash basis rather than accrual accounting (because there are some exceptions, but this is not one of them). If you do not pay the fee, you can not deduct expenses.
